Dr. Elisa V. Garcia, Chief Librarian, conducts Seminar-Workshop on Citations and Referencing on February 23, 2023 at the Main Library.  Referencing covers literature search on online databases and Reference Management. The seminar is attended by the third year college students of College of Business Education spearheaded by Mrs. Darlene Sabandal, a research faculty.

Students were updated on APA 7th format citations, instruction on how to access information on online databases like Proquest and EBSCO, which are the college’s subscribed e-journals, and other free open-online resources and the installation of Zotero, a free and open-source reference management program for keeping track of bibliographic information. During a tutorial on managing references with Zotero, Dr. Garcia explained to the students how simple it is to store, cite and manage references using this software.

If you need any help using Zotero or managing your bibliographic references, you can come to the Main Library or send us an email at jblcf.library@gmail.com. You can also contact our virtual library assistant, ASK LISA, and visit our website at https://jblib.jblfmu.edu.ph for additional learning opportunities and information.
